Gerald Mullery for State Representative

Meet Jerry

This district is my home. I grew up in Plymouth Township and graduated from Greater Nanticoke Area High School, where I met my wife, Michele. After completing my undergraduate education at King’s College, I left the area to attend law school at Duquesne University. However, Michele and I always knew we would return to Northeastern Pennsylvania to start our family. Together, with our four children: Leah, Lauren, Liam, and Louden, we reside in Newport Township.

Upon returning from Pittsburgh, I began practicing law. It was quite a stretch from my jobs as a newspaper delivery boy for the Citizens’ Voice, pizza maker with Januzzi’s, screen printer at my father’s sporting goods business, and my post-graduate work in loss prevention at Lord & Taylor and youth counselor with Act One. I believe my own work experiences led me to focus my practice on helping workers injured in the course of their employment.

For the past ten years, I have represented the people of Pennsylvania’s 119th Legislative District. It has been humbling and inspiring to have had the opportunity to help my neighbors on a daily basis. I am extremely grateful to those who have placed and continue to place their trust in me. I have never taken this responsibility lightly and constantly strive to be the greatest advocate for my district.

I honestly believe everyone wants to make a difference in the world. I went to law school because I knew I would have the chance to help those who needed help. The direct person to person impact I was able to have on client’s lives led me to seek a larger role in public service. Now, as your State Representative, I work every day to make our small corner of Pennsylvania a better place to live, work, and raise a family.

Every bill I support, every argument I make, every position I advocate, and every vote I cast is done with your best interest in mind.
